Fairness for FDW Employers in Singapore

Employers’ welfare should also be looked after as many a times, Many are at mercy of their errant helpers .

We need to put a stop to their excessive demands.

FDW's are so well taken care of by the govt. But what abt the us? the employers? We will treat them like family but then they will give us a million problems. And end of the day, we must fork out thousands of dollars for another new maid. And the cycle repeats itself. We employers are at the mercy of these maids. Something has to be done the tackle this issue.

Mom please conduct public consultation for fdw and you will realise the issues your citizens are facing. Birth rates will continue to decline if working couples are not able to find dependable help.

I fully support a more balanced treatment towards fdw and their employers. Please review the rules.

Please do not over protect Fdw who are here for holidays and bully employers instead of wanting to work here sincerely. We as employers pay money not to mentally torture ourselves with these errant fdw who feel shameless of their deeds.

More Should be done for employers

Unfair treatment from agency,maid work only within 24hours and did not able to get a full refund or a Tree replacement

Just upon arrival my helper wanted to go back to agent . I was lucky that they warned her to abide by what she had signed . I am a caregiver to my ailing Husband & im also unwell.im being threatened by helper saying she wants to go back to her country. Why come and let us pay for them for a free trip to Singapore. They too must be made accountable.

Please be fair to employers too. We always hear "maids are humans too" but what about us employers? Aren't we humans as well?

thats right. pls understand the stress we are in. FDW is simply getting out of hand. They think they are the king of our house.

We need basic rights as employers... an example- employers should be the one deciding a suitable remuneration packages for fdws' base on work experiences instead of having agencies to set them for us.

My recent employment of helpers did not work out where each of the three did not ho out the commitment of 2 years. One even on first day told me she wants a transfer where work had not even started. How are employers being protected where we paid and waited so long so fit each not happy transferred and did lots of mischiefs in the house.

It would be better if agencies all use a standard employment contracts terms and conditions and agency contract. We need fair terms, money don't fall from the sky for us employers.
