GFA is holding an in person graduation. Much smaller class but perhaps a modification of their plan would work for Prep.

PREP can do better than a drive up service and the boys deserve it after 4 years of hard work and service for others.

Please reconsider. Utilize the 6’ distance rule. Even 10'. They got the last 4 months of fun taken from them , can’t you give them a decent graduation? Seriously

Please don’t do this to our young adults , they worked so hard these passed 4 years and deserve a better graduation then a drive by. It’s insulting to them.

Fairfield Prep administration can rely on its community to raise nearly $600,000 in sixty days just by asking. At the same time, they neglect to consider the thoughts and opinions of this same community in the weeks following this campaign. Public schools in Fairfield County (i.e. Stamford Public Schools) were able to hold successful in person, outdoor graduations despite being at the heart of our state’s outbreak. The pride I have for Fairfield Prep does not waiver, but I know that our strong leadership can do better.

I hope Prep finds a way to provide a more personalized, in-person graduation than what is proposed. This is something that the young men and their teachers have worked for four years. The graduates and the staff that guided them deserve a better ending to their time at Prep.

Please reconsider... this must be a way to at least have the boys together with the President and Principal for a graduation ceremony... even if parents watch online. They have worked too hard for this celebration and there must be away to conduct it in a way that complies with current Covid guidelines.

Graduation should NOT be online

We would much prefer an outside graduation on the Bellarmine lawn - Plenty of space to socially distance...Please reconsider and look at the other ceremonies that were held by local high schools that worked out quite well.

Please reconsider. These boys deserve to be with each other on graduation day. They have persevered and have been patient. Prep can do better and it will have the of support from students & parents to find a safe and memorable option.

I understand fully the implications and severity of COVID-19 but I do believe that an in-person for 2020 boys and just parents can be safely and successfully done. I would be willing to explain how it could work if given the opportunity to voice my ideas. Prep graduation in the white tuxes is something a parent and boy looks forward to attending from the very first day they set their first foot on Prep soil. Please don’t take this away from all of us who have worked so very hard to get to this point. Please re-consider. Please re-consider for our precious sons.

If people can be out to dinner, go to the beach, play golf and get their haircut, then it surely is feasible to have an in person graduation ceremony for these fine young men and their families. Broadcasting live for those needing to be a further distance will include all.

Fairfield Prep administrators, please consider this. CT is faring extremely well! Many schools will be in person only weeks from now. I don't see a reason why we can't hold an outdoor graduation for our sons.

Certainly, these young men should have the recognition they deserve for all their hard work!

Fairfield schools were successful in their plans with graduation at Jennings beach....just something to consider.
