Our bill these last two months have been ridiculous! We usually only pay $300+ when it is 40 below, but apparently now that is a standard month!

Was this hike done without the committee's approval?

Energy companies should not be able to hike prices in the most demanding time of the year to hike their profits. I see far too many families and elderly households who have to choose between heat and food in the winter months.

Having lived in another state for 42 years before moving to Montana 4 years ago, I can tell you I wasn't in love with my previous energy company, but I would GLADLY take them over NW Energy!! NW Energy is NOT consumer friendly...nothing like you would expect a utility company to be, and they have no competition. So, no need to change in their eyes.

Sounds like you had an estimated bill before that big one. Which city do you live in?

Have you noticed if you had an estimated bill prior to the Super high bill?

Compared to the national average it seems cheap, but compared to our neighboring states (Idaho, S. Dakota, and Utah) I believe our rate on average are 30% higher than theirs.
