It seems this most recent hike is NW energy passing their property taxes onto their customers. Google it. There was coverage on Fox news recently about it, but they claimed only single digit percentage increases. Not the 300% most are seeing now.

Rate increases should be fair, Its not the tax payers and publics responsibility to pay for your property tax increases. WE ALL got an increase in our property taxes too.

Power bill is outrageous. Power bill is close to 300 even with our woodstove. Still close to 300 even in the summer. Bills need to drop because this is outrageous

These bills are outrageous! !!! We use wood heat and propane and our bill was still almost $400. Insane!!!

Have new windows to prevent higher bills, keep consistent temps, still high. Bill was a little less this month, but now lights for Christmas were used.

How in the world can people on SS withstand a hike that was just given us. We have budget billing and have a credit every month and yet we get an increase of $70 a month? That is devastating to us. This is just outrageous!

I understand that prices are going to raise. However, there is a huge difference between a gradual increase and a heart stopping, "WTH just happened here", increase. Be fair to your customers NWE.... WE are the reason YOU are in business. This is not fair to people who live paycheck to paycheck. And if and when another energy company comes to the area - you will lose customers from this ridiculous price hike.
