The recent two months' bills have been about 40% higher than last year. Haven't heard any reasonable explanation, but suspect greed.

Help! Us hard working resident's of Montana can not keep on giving our money to the CEO of this high rates Power CO. We wk hard to use very little power so we don't have to pay these ridiculous rates! Especially in the winter mos.that hurts the Bank acct. In the harsh weather conditions! Please stop this high rates from continuing! We need a long break!!!!!!

NWE said my meter was broke since july its january now and they said they will take a average of last years bill and give me a guestamate price i owe. now i owe them 647 dollars. last year we used space heaters and this year we burbed wood. they have messed up my wife and sons life and getting out the USMC to come back to this really hurta my family. im tired of them ruining lives.

The customers should not have to pay for NWE miscalculations. In my opinion, Montana Power should have never sold Montana's dams to out of state corporations in the first place. Shame on these money grubbers.

Our bill was double what we normally pay- this is not right. We work hard to stay afloat and this can't happen when we all know they're profiting so much.

I am unsure if the bills were due to the rate hikes. Even if that's not the case, raising customer rates by over 5% because NWE's property taxes went up is ridiculous. I wish I could charge my employer an additional 5% of my paycheck when my property taxes go up. I support this 100%. It's about time something be done. I applaud the people organizing this and taking their time to do so.

This year (2017) , in Billings, I received a $337 electric bill for January from NW. I have lived in the same (small) apartment for almost six years. Yes, January was cold, as it has been before, but I'm not stupid.
