Paying taxes on your property is something everyone have to save up all year to do, the utuilty company is no different, you should have planned better. You should not have to raise your rates to do this, your fault!

Someone needs to address the unfair business practices of NWE.

If the higher than usual bills were due to estimates rather than actual readings, will actual readings be taken at some point and future bills be adjusted to compensate for what we have overpaid?

It's a shame when a person works over 40 hours a week and rent takes one entire paycheck and electric takes over three quarters of the second one leaving food, car payments, and other necessities to credit cards pushing a hard working person into debt.

Absolutely shocked at my bill last month we always turn our heat down and lights off, I called and they said due to cold winter weather, well no actually 60 percent increase on my bill is an unfair punishment for keeping my family warm, considering you make money off everyone who uses power, this is Outrageous And taking away from children parents barely making it by as it is, you a raping the people by leaving them no choice.

My power bill the last two months have been over 400$!!! Granted we use electric heaters in winter, but have been doing so the last 4 year it has never been above 300$ in previous winter months.

We need affordable rates! The average family can't afford them! I have lived other places and never had rates this high!

The high rates are outrageous! One single person lived in our house and the bill was unusually high. As a single mom, I was lucky I have the option to be able to work overtime. Otherwise I would be unable to pay this bill. Not sure what people that don't have that option are doing.

My bill went from $50 a month to $109 a month which is totally bs. For a single mom this is way to much of an increase to be paying on a tight budget.

Monopolies are supposed to be illegal. That is what we have here!

Our income does not justify the prices we are paying on utilities. Maybe if our jobs paid better then we would not be in this position. NWE hardly works with you and demands that you pay in full or you don't have heat even when the weather is only 13 degrees. Sos sad that Montana has come to this and I live in Missoula so we cannot have a wood burning fire place.

if the Utility has had Technical issues will its customers be getting a credit for the overbilling or estimating? The Utility should be required to provide the source of the issue and the fix as well as plans to make it right with the customer.
