please change the rule that allows NWE to pass on its tax liability to customers!

I moved here in 2015 to give my kids a better life, I recently lost my job and my electric bill is behind and only seems to be growing $ wise monthly. My monthly electric and gas in San Diego, California was a lot less then it is here.

north west energy has a monoply on our electricity. they keep raising the price every 6 months. and over charging people and businesses. what about those airport lights that were being charged per meter that did not exist for 30 years in Hamilton?

I can't fathom how fixed-income householders can possibly pay these exorbitant bills. I understand that there was a snafu with meter reading in January. But it was NWE's own error. They should make up the shortfall in revenue by docking executive bonuses.

From a bill that is usually only 100.00/mth and just put in all new windows and insulated the house.. and now it shot up to 300.00. Not right!!! I keep my heat at 66 degrees.. Far from abusing energy!

My power bill more than tripled in December and January. It is hard to maintain a $500 power bill as a single mother. I can't even imagine what other families are faced with because of this! We deserve fair electricity prices!!!

My mother is a 6 time cancer patient fighting for her life and she receives $589 SS. Her heat bill was over $600. So how can she live???! Explain that to me!!!!

I agree whole heartedly. I have spent many hours on the phone disputing my power bill. Asking for explanations etc. I understand you cannot have a monopoly in the state of Montana however this company does, through my digging I was informed that they have used loopholes to make it near impossible for other companies to compete because of customer base as well as allowing us to have co-op options.
My service charge was $170 and i live in a populated area. My mother who is in arlee lives very far out and pays $12 service and my father in butte pays about the same s she fires for service fee... Because they are co-op. This is unacceptable. I was also told only the legislature can change this and that I would have to hire layers to present my and my communities concerns regarding the unethical way this company is running the business.

My bill in Dec to Jan was 135.00 my bill Jan to Feb 331.00 I live in a one bedroom trailer house omg ....
