This happened to me in Great Falls. They came and replaced my meter, then took what they called an accurate reading. After that they adjusted my bill accordingly. My bill had tripled! I was so angry because it went up so much. I had to set up payment arrangements for the first time.

As college students trying to pay rent and utilities, it's hard enough to work and manage school full time. This energy bill definitely hit us hard.

This has gone on in great falls too. We had a vacant house that they gave us an insane bill for. We were told they just estimated so this is a common practice not a broken vehicle in Helena. Bull crap!

NW Energy is constantly raising rates and I can't help but wonder if the members of the Public Service Commission are taking bribes because they roll over and let them. I never saw a dime when they sold the dams, but we are expected to pay additional rates for them to buy them back. Now we are expected to pay for the increase in taxes!!! When are the company and stockholders going to absorb some of the cost of doing business?

This is rediculous my bill went up 200 last month and checked it this month is about 200 again I finally got it to come down in December and now it went beyond what it ever has been
