Although our power bill did not increase as much as some it did go from $200 to $350 a month and the biggest difference was the outrageous supply charges that were added over and above the actuall usage. We use mostly natural gas for our home and our power and natural gas usage has not changed the last several years and doesn't warrant such drastic increases. I hope NWE takes responsibility for the supposed mistake and help out those who need assistance. Please do the right thing and be responsible to your customers. With any other business your customers would stop using you and look for something else, but unfortunately for most of us there is no other option if we want power and gas.

My November Bill was $400 my December Bill was $680 my January Bill was $599.... Glad I spent $10,000 on a high efficiency furnace this summer.... Can't imagine what the low efficiency model would have cost

I am a single lady. My windows are double paned. My heat NEVER went above 67 degrees. My electric bill is over $400. I know for a fact that my meter was never read. I live in deer lodge. THIS IS BS.

I got a bill in manhattan for 887 because apparently my meter stopped working. So that got to guess how much my bill would be for 3 months because that is how long it took them to figure out the meter stopped then changed the meter in December 16 and called me and told me that I was getting a really high bill on January31. 45 days after they found out my meter failed and my January bill was 432. This is robbery and they will work with me to pay in full in 6 months plus the current outragious bill. I keep the heat at 64 in my house really people

These bills are outrageous. We have wood heat and our bill has almost tripled. We use more electricity in the summer with fans and the air conditioner and its actually afordable then. I went on the budget billing a couple years ago when i had to use space heaters and was hardly able to pay it off. The amount increased more every time I tried to pay it off and got up to $1,000. Finally have it paid off. After 2 years. This is nothing more than lazy exploitation of people who need to keep their families warm and it needs to stop. I have a baby on the way and would like the keep a space heater in the baby room this winter without going broke and not able to afford basic necessities. Thank you!!

Im a single mother to a toddler and we keep our heat and lights completely off all day. At night we use one tv and one light and my monthy bill is $300! I simply cant afford this!!!!!

Thank you for making this petition, this is getting outrageous! We have no choice but to pay these increases, or they will disconnect our power. They have a total monopoly on the business, and are taking advantage of that!!

Customers should NOT have to pay the tax bill for NW energy. Those charges should not be passed to the consumers. They should come from the stockholders and those at the top of the company.

$400-$600 electric bills...disgusting tats as much as rent. People that work hard to pay their bills and take care of their families are going to be dissconected because they can't pay an extra $300 -$500 dollars for electric. I cannot believe this is conssiderd ethical to a corporation in our community.

My mother who is on a fixed income with my younger siblings had to give up there home and move in with me and my Husband because there Bills became to much especially there electric very upsetting to her...
