We have wood heat and did nothing different with our electricity usage however our bill nearly tripled.

This is crazy. Living in a poverty stricken County as is life is hard. Then we get raked over the coals for heat which we have to have when it's so cold and we have 3 babies!

The power company needs to learn how to budget like a normal person. Everything keeps going up except for wages and people manage to get by by tightening their budgets and that's what Northwestern needs to learn instead expecting the people to bail them out.

How are people suppose to survive when their NWE bills are so outrageous. Montana is a state of working class people, living paycheck to paycheck.

I don't know what to say. I am furious and it is criminal what Northwestern gets away with.

I am tired of paying more in "fees" to NWE then I am paying for my actual energy usage!

I saw a bill of 159 after losing my job in December I get slammed with that. On top of that we just moved into this place and I had budget billing in my last place at 70 a month. I was paid in full there and then was told because I had them switched that my old bill all of a sudden was 190 for my last place. I was told even though my budget billing was only 70 and I was never late, that charges accumulated over 2 years and if you try to switch to another house they charge you all that. So total I owed northwestern energy was a whopping 349 dollars with no job now and 2 kids. How the ×%#& does it go from 70 to 349 wtf is going on. This is ridiculous

This rate increase is unfair to the paying families of the state!

This is happening in Lolo, too, I think. This is ridiculous and someone needs to be held accountable for the mistakes!

Although our bill wasn't nearly as high as some others. Ours went up from 60 dollars to 160 dollars and back down to 130 dollars. Two high bills in a row we can't afford when we are buried in debt due to medical bills and a vet bill.

Lower the cost! Take it out of the CEO vacation bonus fund.

Unfair to all. This was approved. Cannot just raise rates arbitrarily.

This didn't just happen in Helena. We live in Park County. We went from $195.00 a month (bad water heater issues) to over $422.00. This is just out right theft on Northwestern Energy's part. Shame on them.
