The PSC needs the power to act on our behalf in the future. We shouldn't have to organize and protest when we have a commission who will stand for us if they have the power they need to do so.

Vigilante does a much better job. They state their base fees and actually rates and that is what you pay. No unexplained delivery fees, no crazy estimations, and no panning their taxes onto customer.

I used to have respect for NWestern Energy but with them trying to screw Havre not any more...They caved in to Washington State on 2 of the Colstrip plants that they owned...

My household has a hard enough time paying all our bills without one of them getting doubled. And worst part is that we can't get any help from energy share or anything.

We want fair rates! How is a family suppose to pay such an outrageous bill? We can't go without power. This isn't an extra expense, this is something we have to have. If my cable bill skyrocketed this high I would drop that provider. We don't exactly have that option in this case.

I do not agree that this is the only power company we can have. They are holding the Montana people hostage when a lot of Montanas are struggling to make ends meet as is. In December 2016 my power bill was 100.00 from them. We had days of below temps but I could not afford to heat the house so the thermostat did not go above 70 and we used electric blankets and wore sweatshirts and such.

I have three accounts with NWE and the bills doubled, tripled and quadrupled respectively. I asked to have my equipment checked and was told I would be charged $150 if they came out and found nothing wrong. I was also told that there was every indication the higher bills were due to consumer increased usage and it was highly unlikely there equipment was wrong!

I experienced a significant increase in my services through North western energy my typical bill ranging around $50 only to almost triple to $120 in Jan and down slightly to $98 in February. I called immediately upon receiving my first bill I immediately contacted NWE to see if there had been a discrepancy only to be told the cold weather affected my bill even though I felt my use had not increased nearly to that level I am being build for.

My bill almost tripled and it said I used more electricity than normal and we haven't....It's also shows on my bill a huge increase from last year which we haven't used more.....The people of Ennis MT are furious about this increase in their bills!!!!
