Our power bill was around $100 and went to $200. We did nothing different then normal. This is such a theft!!!

I watched my bill go from $188 in December to $468 in January and $536 in February. that is ridiculous! I hope they do something, because no one should have to pay that much of a hike!!

My bill tripled as well! This is outrageous! I'm sure evrryone knows this, when you look at your bill (anytime during the last 3 to 4 years) you see your "useage" of electricity, below that you see right around 11-14%% of that amt. is basically for the privilege of doing business with Northwest Energy. The same goes the gas. They charge you about 9% or more for any powerpole on your property, even if you never ordered one, or moved in after its installation. Do these guys pay for ANYTHING?? Looks like all profit to me. Where's the alternative? Isn't what they do illegal? What do they call it? Cornering the marketing? Jerks.

This price hike is outrageous and added to NWE raising their rates every damn year how are we supposed to keep up with this? Especially when it more than doubles overnight!!! This company is ridiculous and needs to be stopped! Why can't we switch to Ravalli Electric Co-op when all our neighbors are with the coop? Not fair at all. I hate this b.s. monopoly they have on our livelihoods.

Our electric bill tripled! We don't heat by electricity. We use Propane. Our bill has always run $65 to $75 a month. We got ripped off and further, I cannot understand and read meter correctly. So what they say is final as they told me. Wish there was another utility here.

The increase in our bill was substantial. This has forced our family to reduce in other areas to pay for what should not have gone up so drastically. Please correct this issue as quickly as possible.
