I have never had a power bill over $100 in one month and my last three months have totaled over $800! I live alone and have had I have had home energy audits done, keep my heat at 55 during the day, 60 at night. There is NO legitimate reason to charge more!

I am a stevensville resident a working mother of 4 kids, and soul support of my family. Only income. I expect a higher bill during the winter but this is outrageous, I can't catch up let only get ahead. I just want to be able to take care of my family, and pay my bills. But can I afford to do that, breaking the bank seems to be my option?

in December they came to my home and said that thier gas meter was not working so they replaced it, then called and said that they are adding $400 onto my account which they said was an estimate they came up with of the gas they think I used while thier meter was not working, I asked how they came up with that amount and they based it of off last years usage, well we didn't live hear last year so how do they know how much gas we used last year? what a scam! they get away with stuff like this because we have no other options, if we want electricity and gas we have to go through them, isn't that called a monopoly?

Northwestern energy is lying the high rate increase has affected people statewide. My utility bill in Bozeman is double last month. Several of my friends bills have doubled or tripled too.

My bill went from 137.00 in Dec. To 511.00 in Jan. Only difference was we had Christmas lights on in Dec. Outrageous.

The way I have seen this customer fluctuate pricing to family members over the last year is absurd. Bills shouldn't triple or quadruple. Utility companies needs over sight and competition.

Remember before Obama was elected in 2008 he said, " Under his plan your energy prices would necessarily sky rocket!" Apparently, this energy company is working under that premise and hasn't gotten the memo yet that we have a new President. I wish you all the best in getting this matter resolved.
