I am a disabled senior on LEAP. My income per month is $746. I live in a section 8 apt. My energy bill was $65. In the winter. It has jumped to $130. Almost all of my LEAP is used up. I will not be able to pay the bill until the warm months. I will be evicted if I get shut off. So I will be homeless. Is this human?

Fix this! I have a feeling with the feedback that people will start looking at solar power and cost sharing.

My normal bill is $89.00 per month this month $250.00 plus an added $300.00 for restoration for service due to "faulty equipment they had to replace"

Our shop...just our shop, not even including our home, went from $18.90 to $839....how is that possible? It's a shop and no one is in it, ever?!!!

My bill more than doubled this past month. $194.05 was my total charge, I have never paid over $100 in the past. My previous bill made no mention of an estimate. I do not deserve to pay for north western energies mistakes. If there was another provider I would be switching

How can we support our families and pay our bills when our electricity bill suddenly skyrockets to double what it usually is in the winter. This isn't fair.

Increasing prices AFTER people become legally obligated to use your power is wrong.

This price hike on energy that was already consumed (aka no warning) is ridiculously scummy and a move that I would expect of only the worst companies.

They haven't done me wrong yet but it doesn't mean it's not a matter of time or possibly that I'm not even aware of it.

I am outraged by the increase in my NWE bill. This is just plain robbery. They have a monopoly on the electric/gas here and we can't choose to use another company if we wanted to. I thought America stood for freedom, including freedom of choice. Apparently NWE doesn't want any competition so they can charge as much as they want for a service that is a necessity for most of us. My power bill has tripled over the last few months. How are Montanans supposed to afford this outrageous rate hike when are one of the states with the lowest incomes? Why hasn't our state put a safeguard of laws in the place to protect us from NWE being able to basically rob us of our hard earned money? When will someone stop NWE from being an economical terrorist? Ban together Montanans and let's show NWE will not stand for thievery!

The rate increase is unacceptable and is taking advantage of hard working americans.

I've had to go as far as to cut back my groceries stipend to even come close to paying off last month's bill.

My bill in Willow Creek also tripled, our heat is mainly propane, we never see anyone read our meter & this was ridiculous!

I have to pay my own taxes, so should they. That is their responsibility and perhaps their profit will have to be a little less.

I'm a single mother. How am I suppose to pay $700 for one months usage? This is rediculous.

My energy bill went up about $75 dollars. It's rediculous, with 4 children it is almost impossible to cover school items, bills, and to keep up the maintenance on my home. As if all the required healthcare and insurance is not bad enough, they have to jack up prices of other necessities but of course not raise minimum wage or make childcare easier to find? They should have to offset it somehow anyways.
