800 SF apartment with a $201.00 power bill for December. It was cold, but that is outrageous.

It's time for people to make a stand against organized crime and this type of bill increase is nothing less than criminal

It is an out rage that the power has gone up so much. People on low income can't even afford their bill. They can't even afford the payment plan. Total outrage to up the prices

Where there's smoke..... We paid more 2 months in a row than we have in one month ever and we have been doing the same things in the same home for 10 years.

Business practices being undertaken by Northwestern Energy are of grave concern. Montanan's need to protect ourselves and leave the property tax responsibility on the provider, not the consumer. We already pay our taxes. Northwestern Energy is a for profit corporation.

As Northwestern Energy continues to jack up prices higher and higher, while receiving subsidies from the government and lobbying against alternative energy sources, the average consumer in Montana is victimized. Please help us restore fair energy costs in Montana!

Our electric bill from NWtern increased about 300% over the last two months

Northwestern Energy received tax dollars in order to serve the people of Montana. It also lobbies against alternative energy sources wth the excuse that they need even more protectionist policies in order to continue that service. Such a substantial increase in rates is inexcusable given the government support and protection they receive.

This is interesting, blaming a faulty meter for you and now, the ONLY meter reading vehicle for the region was down? How about: we made an adjustment on our smart meters to start the new fiscal year?

Last winter we had a 15 year old system, this winter over the same month my usage doubled with brand new HE system, something does not add up.

NWE sent me an invoice nearly 5x anything in the past year and we heat with wood. This market needs some competition or some regulation.

Our bills this winter have been almost double. We heat with wood and in November, changed over to LP water heater. Our bills should have decreased significantly.

Were used to high power bills in winter but when i am paying 250+ a month and my bill that was 270 goes to 680. This is crazy!!! How do they expect anyone to afford this?!?!

We can't afford to have our electric bill double every month! With four kids and one income we have more things to worry about than if we're gonna have power

I went from 120 to 393 then another for 387. No way, I can't do this on fixed income and I know I didn't use that much extra!
