As a national institution payed for by the taxpayer it is scandalous that the BBC has concealed the Balen Report and by virtue of this has clearly demonstrated that it is a biased organisation

as a parent of children that live in Israel and who experienced the bombardment of continual rocket attacks for many years I absolutely object to the continual unfair reporting by BBC. You should be ashamed of your unfair baised coverage.

I understand that in 2004 Malcolm Balen (A senior broadcasting journalist) was commissioned to write a report examining the BBC’s reporting on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is thought that the Balem Report focused on the bias reporting against Israel by a number of high profile BBC news reporters. It appears that anti-Israel reporting is still endemic within the BBC, most noticeably with the reporting of the recent Gaza incidents. It is disappointing if not suspicious to learn that the BBC has been avoiding the release of the Balem report and it is said it uses our tax payer’s money to do so. The BBC should not let itself be tarnished any further by withholding the report any longer.

The BBC is a public body with public accountability as it is funded by taxpayers and therefore is obliged to publish its findings. It is a disgrace that it has not done so

It is in the interests of the BBC to retain its good name to release the Balen Report NOW.

The BBC is always so biased against Israel that I have often wondered if they are supported with funds and 'gifts' from islamic sources

You need to include the Arab rejection of UN181 as the cause of their problems before tha they rejected Peel37 and since 1949 they have rejected or failed to use 6 other offers and opportunities.

We expect better from the BBC. It was built on better foundations. I believe it was the BBC that did a wonderful job in a programme on the Flotilla. THAT was superb. So it can be done!

The bias is cleverly done. For example, the BBC will say for example, "the Israeli Air Force attacked targets in Gaza in response to incoming rocket fire from there". What makes the impact is what the listener first hears. They never say, for example, "that rockets were fired from Gaza and the Israeli Air Force responded etc". Reporting in this way, while factually correct,, slants the report against Israel.
