It's very disheartening as a student to struggle to put money together to pay and do my degree part-time to see and learn that our roles as social care workers is not adequately valued.

All social care workers should be paid on the HSE payscale.. it should become compulsory for all organisations catering for service users in this area .. you get what you pay for

It's unfair the rates at the minute and why doesn't the pay match your experience .if you change jobs you end up back at the start of that organisations pay scale
