We are a group of students who strongly believe that a fair immigration reform is needed now….
We are sending the attached letter to Speaker of the House
of Reps John Boehner to urge him to act on a fair immigration reform that would
open way to legalization of over 11 million as well as working towards a safer,
more comprehensive immigration system. This reform would help our country not
only by strengthening our economy, but opening up more opportunities for
EVERYONE!

I have been thinking about my own family history lately and the courage it took for them to build a life here from scratch. The stories being shared in the comments prove that this struggle for fairness in our system is deeply personal for so many of us.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me of the uncertainty my own family faced while waiting for the system to finally see them. It means the world to know so many others recognize that our current path does not reflect who we are supposed to be.
