Father John Duffy is a very Sprirtual and excellent Priest. He works with God's Children and is compassionate and God fearing. He was always there helping and praying with us as our daughter was very sick and gave us the spiritual support when she passed away.

Theresa and I have been dedicated parishoners for over 50 years (40 years of which have been at St. Thomas More). We have never met a priest as generous, thoughtful and kind as Father John Duffy. We will keep him in our prayers.

I know Father John Duffy as an intelligent, thoughtful man. He does not make decisions lightly. I can't imagine what he has seen before he dedicated his life to Priesthood. He never "sweetened' Catholicism, but still drew many to be faithful. He has my support and confidence through these earthly trials. His work has only ever been from a true heart.

I am very disappointed to hear this news. Fr. John is a great priest and I have a lot of respect for him. I truly hope the archdiocese will conduct a proper review. There is no way that Fr. John deserves this treatment.

As a former brother in a congregation studying for priesthood (8years), thus is EXACTLY why I would never have joined the diocese. Because they throw you to the wolves (coward Curia) who are predominantly Masons and not in alignment with the Holy Spirt.

Why has the Archdiocese abandoned Father John Duffy? What message are they sending to the congregation.
I've known Father Duffy for many years. This is a man who has devoted his life helping people and living every day the principles of our faith.
Father Duffy has demonstrated care and compassion. I pray everyday that the Archdiocese of Toronto will not abandon Father Duffy the same way that Judas abandoned Jesus.

I've known Fr, John Duffy since he was a seminarian until he was ordained and became the parish priest of St. Thomas More. He is the nicest priest and as one of the supporter, we deserve explanation why he is being suspended and why the Archdiocese of Toronto refuses to help him and worst of all, he was threatened.
