Father John is a positive influence in our parish.
He tells things like it is. He is straight up and to the point with all issues.
It is obvious that this is a PERSONAL attack on him.
This is not coming from the parish as a whole but from an individual.
"When a priest falls, we should extend him a helping hand THROUGH PRAYER AND NOT ATTACKS !
I Myself will be his judge, NO ONE BUT I !
Whoever voices judgement over a priest has voiced it over Me...."
Excerpt from Our Lord's Revelation to Mutter Vogel.
Pray a Hail Mary for Father John. He needs us now.
To the person(s) responsible for this .... You have taken away Father John's livelihood.
I honestly do not know how you can sleep at night.
We have no right to judge any individual.
The Archdiocese did not have his back and that makes me sad.

I've taken the time to read the comments. Is anonymous being cowardice or fearful. (Has anyone noticed that there is a few comments signed anonymous?) Anonymous, stay strong! I know at St. Thomas Moore we had our problems and concerns as well. We should all be praying for Fr. Duffy and start pointing our fingers inward rather that outward and that includes fr. duffy. May God bless us all!

I don't know Fr. John Duffy but upon reading emails and Farewell Speech, I knew he is a very good priest. I have withdrawn my donation to Family of Life, Archdiocese's current "baby" and help Fr. Duffy("a priest forever according to order of Melchizedech"). Hopefully others will follow.

In Colossians 4:1 it states "Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that you also have a Master in Heaven". Father John Duffy is a good, honest priest who has served his parishioners and the Uxbridge community very well. He is deserving of a fair and just hearing. The Archdiocese of Toronto need to do the right thing and grant him one!

I have known Fr. John Duffy for some years and found him to be a compassionate, approachable and trustworthy priest. What others did to him is a shame!

Dear "Anonymous", We went to this site to support Father John Duffy because we believed in our hearts that he deserve a fair hearing not to slander him. I could see that you have so much hatred and you won't stop until he is dead. That is not a Christian like nor definitely not coming from our Lord. If Father John Duffy is guilty of any kind, let God punish him. Remember, if you are a true servant of God we accept that we are all sinners. May God grant you peace and learn to forgive because forgiveness is a grace from God. I will pray for your bitter heart. May God forgive you and Bless you always.

My name is Father John M. Duffy, former Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Uxbridge.
"Anonymous" is a world often used by slanderers and cowards. I know where the "Anonymous" comment came from, that is, who referred to me as a "wolf in sheep's clothing hurting people". Continued slander against me will result in a defamation suit.

I was shocked and stunned to hear Father Duffy's farewell speech on July 12th, 2015. It was a terrible shock to all the parishioners. Father Duffy was open and honest when he spoke about what had happened to him and how the Archdiocese of Toronto had treated him. The Archdiocese of Toronto should be ashamed of themselves. Father Duffy is the most amazing, compassionate, honest and faithful Priest I have ever met. Shame on the devil's advocates who have done this to him, and even more shame on the Archdiocese of Toronto for not defending Father Duffy. Then the Archdiocese sent a Monsignor up to Sacred Heart Parish the weekend of July 18th. He stood on the Holy Altar and lied. He said Father Duffy had retired - which we all know this is not the case. The Archdiocese of Toronto will not receive another penny from me as long as I live.
