As members of The Sacred Heart Parish for over 60 years we have yet to experience an injustice that has previously occurred to Father John Duffy. We consider him a very close and trustworthy friend and Pastor. We will stand behind him at all times an will be in our prayers.

I have been a member of Sacred Heart for 35 years and throughout Father John Duffy's entire time there. There is absolutely nothing which would impinge negatively on his character and service during that time. In fact, he has served his parishioners with honour and exceptional service. Everyone I have talked to feel the same way. He received a standing ovation at his final Sunday masses with tears throughout. The Archdiose has made an ill-informed decision and should reconsider the situation. Ninety-nine per cent of the parishioners feel the same way.

I am very disturbed by the suspension of Fr. John Duffy by the Archdiocese of Toronto. He is a good, honest and holy priest and does not deserve to be treated with such disdain while Pedophile priests are protected, given vacation time and then transferred to another location. I will not support the Archdiocese of Toronto until Fr. John Duffy is re-instated.

The wolf in sheep's clothing will finally no longer be able to hurt another person or parish. Reading the messages only tells me that you don't know the truth, which is a blessing! You all need to get informed and read the message from the Archdiocese of Toronto. Prayers for Duffy and all those he has hurt in his past.

Father John Duffy has done more for Sacred Heart Uxbridge than any other priest in the past 12 years or more. The church was completely neglected and he renovated it as we could afford the costs. He also helped more people in the parish than any of the previous priests that I met. He always preached all the catholic beliefs and lived by them. I am ashamed that my church has dismissed him as a priest and, so far,
has not offered him any pension and benefits for all his hard years of his service. I will not say more now.

I know Fr. Duffy from St. Thomas More church as a member of the Sacred Heart
Choir(members are from different parishes). We served there for years. I've always have high regard for him, very kind, friendly and holy priest. He is in my prayers and have asked my friends to pray for him too."Most Precious Blood of Jesus please cover and protect him from the malicious evil doers. Amen

I have attended Sacred Heart parish for the past 13 years. Since Fr. Daffy has been pastor he has done more than any other pastor for the Church and for his parishioners. I am shocked and ashamed of what the Archdiocese of Toronto has done to our dear Fr. Duffy who is well loved by all and who is good and a holy person who stands for justice, it seem to me that he has been dealt with injustice, and I am very disappointed in the church.
I can't believe that Fr. Duffy could have done anything to cause this kind of reaction by the Archdiocese.

we are all totally devastated at the plight our great priest, Fr. John Duffy finds himself in. He is a kind and honest priest and we stand behind him. It's just heart breaking what the Archdiocese of Toronto is doing to our well loved and respected priest. We are praying for him.

I have a very hard time believing that the Catholic Church can keep petifile priests moving from church to church and get rid of an honest hard working Priest like Father Duffy, he has done more for the Uxbridge Parish than any others in the 39 years I have been attending that Parish. I am ashamed of the actions that have been taken. My family will always see him as a kind and honest Priest.

I have known good Fr. John Duffy for about 15 years or more, and have been one of his parishioners when he was Pastor at St. Thomas More. I, myself and EVERYONE else had very positive guidance and council from Fr. Duffy and consider him a close and trustworthy friend & Pastor and a person of highest integrity.
I am spiritually, emotionally and almost physically pained and injured hearing of Fr. Duffy's current plight. Without question, he has the benefit of any & all doubts as far as I am concerned.
He will be in all my prayers until this terrible time passes into oblivion where it belongs.

That Rome will grant Fr. John Duffy a fair hearing.
