PETITION IN SUPPORT OF FR. JOHN M. DUFFY

I was shocked to hear what happen to Father John Duffy. As far as I am concerned he is the best example of what it means to be a Christian. It was through meeting him planning my brother Gordon'sfuneral with my sister and mom that made me start believing in the Catholic Church again. My mom is 91 and says he is the best priest she has ever met. We are all praying that the Archdiocese does the right thing and reinstates him and apologizes.

I am praying for Fr. Duffy and for the truth to be known.

What is being done to Fr. John M. Duffy is unacceptable to God's very eyes, a very clear persecution of a very good, devoted priest, Satan's work! Fr. Duffy had been our very good Chaplain in our two international pilgrimages where he had proven his piety, integrity & holiness to our pilgrims & other witnesses of faith in various countries we have visited.

Our prayers for justice to be served , are with you Fr. John. You have been a source of great comfort and solace to ours and many other families. East Garafraxa,ON

I'm not sure if theres anything I can say that hasn't already been said, but... God Bless you Fr. John, I'll be praying for you.

We have known Fr. John since the time before he was ordained when he would also grace our home with his visits. He was also with us through family funerals and weddings and we have stayed in touch with him over all these years and aware of much of the good work that he has done. Let there be no doubt that we would trust and do trust him over any of the apparent hypocrisy (actually the not so apparent hypocrisy it would seem) that he has been and is being subjected to at this time. If not mistaken - Edgar Cayce many years ago - wrote something to the effect that "Only the strong are not afraid to show their weaknesses but only the weak are". For the Archdiocese to try to muzzle Fr. John only betrays the Archdiocese's weakness and possible hypocrisy towards the Church and its teachings as in this case it would appear that CONVENIENCE practiced by whomever at the Archdiocese is more important than the TRUTH and more important than the practice of Christian Charity. I have to wonder if Cardinal Collins is aware of this situation or wonder if he has been presented with the truth rather than convenient misinformation.

Fr. John Duffy I support you. We are all ready to keep up the fight for our Faith. We need to take this to the Archdiocese of Ontario and next Canada and even to Vatican. None should stay silent because even Jesus wants us to speak out and gathers others to assist. Just tell us what we can do and we will all unite to fight the good cause

My husband became a baptized Catholic under the guidance of Fr. John Duffy when we were at St. Thomas More Parish in Scarborough. He is a great inspiration to all our parishioners and well loved by all. I support him every step of the way and hope the Archdiocese of Toronto realise that there other terrible scandals happening in our churches than to penalize an honest Priest. I think we also need to know that NO ONE HERE ON EARTH CAN STAND AS JUDGE. Think how we have to keep our faith with all these injustices we see. FR. JOHN DUFFY we are a 150% behind you and may those who put false accusations go before our LORD on judgement day. GOD BE WITH YOU AND BLESS YOU FATHER. Let us not go against our own people of faith. I feel sad that I promote our faith and am a proud Catholic and then see the injustice happening right before my eyes of the priest we trust and know. All the very best Fr. John Duffy. Church is betraying HIS OWN!!! Judases of Christ.... and HIS TRUE TEACHING... fearful for their positions! PURE SCANDAL...

Fr Duffy is one of the reasons this Catholic is a convert. He showed me that the church has a human face.

Priests like Father Duffy are rare. The first time I met him, he blessed a Christmas ornament and gave it to me and my husband, just because he wanted to. He has a humble gracious heart and knowing that Gods servants get tested the most, I pray that God will guide him through this

I fully support Fr. John Duffy and I alway will see him as a man of God. I will never forget what he has done for me. As a young man he always guided me in a spiritual and logical way. He is an outstanding priest and deserves some of the credit for me being the upstanding man of faith that I am. Fr John please remain strong we are all praying for you.

Totally support Father Duffy, who is a very good priest.

I am disillusion for the Catholic Church because this has been going on for a long time..... They are confident their dirty laundry will stay under the carpet my heart I and spirit is broken and I will not be quiet. I feel bad for Fr. Duffy,..he was framed, H ow could our spiriual head of our church be so unjust, really in contrast to their teaching.s!8
