One of our fellow teachers recently made a disheartening discovery - she is no longer covered by the current health insurance, and the coverage limit is a mere 5 million soum. This revelation has placed her in a precarious and potentially costly situation.
What's even more troubling is the lack of transparency that surrounded the issuance of these insurance cards. When our colleague sought clarification on this matter, she was met with disappointment - hung up on and blocked from their Telegram communication.

A basic insurance package of less than 500usd is not adapted to the needs of a foreign employee for the whole year bearing in mind all the surrounding risks. More than that, this very cruacial detail was communicated to us beforehand so we can take precautions or find alternatives before coming to Uzbekistan.
As stated in our country, we ask that we are offered a health insurance that covers our needs. Thank you.
