I notice the heads of the valleys road is being upgraded even more. When is this labour government going to up grade the wenvoe road as they are trying to build even more houses in the Vale, but then we are not left wing enough for them to care.

I absolutely agree our roads require more than just patching up and we should have the funds to ensure we have the best contractors for the job and ensure that the money is not wasted. With more houses being planned it is essential. that we have a good road system to support them.

Why are ALL Welsh councils increasing the council tax this year by an average of 4.5% when councils in England are not increasing the tax and in some cases even reducing the tax !!??

The Vale is financially suffering through no fault of our own This is completely unfair.

Absolutely ridiculous in the variation in funding per person between the Vale Of Glamorgan and other councils. I strongly object to the increases in council tax to help cover this deficit.

Since becoming disabled after an Industrial Injury I have not been able to return to my normal workplace. I am 64 years old with no income at all. I have been existing on my savings alone yet have to pay full band h council taxes. What am I to do?

I do not feel that we get value for money with the current level on Council Tax applied to Vale postcoded properties and therefore strongly object to any increased being applied to the current charges.
Further increases will have a direct impact on a large number of families within the Vale that are already struggling to make end meet.

What justification has Bro Mogannwg in increasing council tax by more than twice the rate of inflation?

It would only be right to receive the same funding level as Cardiff as otherwise Barry is greatly missing out on essential funding.

If we matched with the Cardiff figure I am sure this wold go some way towards keeping council tax down.
If we had to amalgamate with Cardiff under the Williams proposals would they bring Cardiff down to our level or increase our funding level?

If the Vale of Glamorgan Council were to receive relatively the same level of funding as Cardiff and Bridgend, hopefully, this would see the reinstatement of the X91 Llantwit Major to Cardiff via Rhoose bus service.

Fair funding for the Vale.

In England council tax has been frozen. In The Vale we are having to pay for the funding allocation mistakes made by the Assembly, and in my opinion unfairly. It is time for the Vale to make our voice heard.

The Vale requires fair funding to address it's own unique geographical and demographic needs; public transport, services for the elderly and disabled in remote areas, maintaining roads and providing employment opportunities for young people are key.

Blatant discrimination by the Welsh government against the people who live in the Vale of Glamorgan. If we were a Jewish community or an Asian community it would be a blatant act of antisemitism or racism! Its not for hard working people in the Vale to have to financially subsidise years of mismanagement by the Assembly in other part of the country! Funding is for all of Wales equally not for the Assembly to help their mates out in their own areas! This is suppose to be a fair and just, democratic country not some dodgy corrupt republic! Do what is right and give us our fair share of funding!
