Seeing that Barry is one of the most populated towns in Wales, I think we should be in line with at least Bridgend.

I believe that there should be a fairer share out of this money, just because the Vale seems to be a rich area that are many parts of the Vale that need more help and rightly so should be treated the same as Cardiff.

Our Council tax is already higher than Cardiff and the gap increases every year.

The VOG needs to get its fair share of funding to finance essential infrastructures: housing developments, regeneration projects and partnerships with employers; please lobby your MP and engage with your local councillors to keep the debate fresh in peoples' minds.

Funding for the Vale is completely out of line with all other local regions! The Welsh Government is all too happy to insist that the Vale has to build thousands of new homes but won't provide the necessary infrastructure to support such development. In fact, at this time all that appears to be happening are further cutbacks and reductions in existing services and projects for the Vale.

The Vale of Glamorgan suffers from the perception that it is a 'wealthy' area and therefore government spend is not of the essence for sustainability. This is far from the truth as the Vale, as much as its neighbours, requires investment to create and maintain regeneration via investment in its infrastructures, educational needs, social and community requirements, transport etc. The population of the Vale is economically diverse and its needs are therefore equally complex. Government should not be misled by inaccurate imagery, our communities need to be supported as much as any other..

The needs of people in the Vale are just as important as other areas and we have many people desperately struggling to make ends meet. Funding should be fair and equitable across all areas.

Rhondda Cynon Taff naturally receive the most money they are 100 per cent labour,just as natural is the Vale of Glamorgan receiving the least because we keep voting Tory which angers the Welsh labour government so they punish us.
