The Vale is constantly perceived as a 'rich' area compared with other parts of Wales and already loses out on 'convergence money' etc so it must not be discriminated against again by this sort of financial shortfall

Would more money mean the Vale top people giving themselves even more of the cake. Would the money really go to improving the lot of the tax payer?

Investment to infrastructure and services in the Vale is needed just as much as in Cardiff and Bridgend. This difference seems discriminatory, without any explanation

The differences in the levels of funding are outrageous! I'm 100% behind Mr Cairns and applaud his efforts to obtain a fairer settlement for The Vale!

I am obviously in agreement that the Vale of Glamorgan should receive more money from the Welsh Assembly.

I feel that it is grossly unfair that the Vale of Glamorgan receives one of the lowest levels of funding from the Welsh Government across Wales. This is bound to have an impact on every working individual in the area. This balance must be addressed.
