We in the Vale always seem to get the rough end of the stick. Why?

The people of the vale have to put up with most if not all services being cut. It's time to make it a more level playing field by the Assembly making sure all welsh people get the same amount of funding. I don't see why people in neighbouring counties are entitled to so much more. Our Schools, medical services, Police and Bus services need more funding not less. Play Fair!

It is a poor example of fairness by the welsh govt in these days of cutbacks that the Vale is singled out as a rich relation compared to other council in Wales. All credit to the vale to managing as swell as it does!

The state of the roads in the Vale, is proof of less money available. 4.5% increase in Council Tax is quite disgusting..

I completely agree that there is no reason why we shouldnt have at least the same allocation as Cardiff

It is not on that Barry Council think they can do and spend what they like. Putting up Council Tax whilst England has held theirs for a number of years is disgraceful. If they spent less on jollies which they never put into practice and concentrated on the people that put them there we would all be better off

This was news to me and I think it's a discrase and also a shame but not a suprise the Vale council has such little interest in the wellbeing of the people of the Vale to fight for them

Even more reason to cut the number of local authorities in Wales and reduce the surplus number of Councillors in Wales.

I support Alun Cairns' petition and I am appalled that the Vale Council does not see fit to support his endeavours. Pob hwyl gyda'r ymgyrchu

Absolutely furious at the difference in funding. Probably less people claiming welfare in The Vale than RCT and Bridgend also. Avery unfair system. It's time the Welsh Government made decisions more fairly.
