Yet another example of a Conservative MP exposing, and trying to remedy, Labour's woeful strategies

I am personally fed up with the high amount of council tax i am paying and it is very unfair that we see what i feel is almost nothing for our money. I work for the vale council and i am fed up with seeing money wasted in places and then taken from vital services. It really is about time common sense prevailed. I for one am happy to give advice on issues that just need common sense, i have plenty of that!

And from the Vale Dinas Powis gets the worst shake...because Labour used to think it was a Conservative area - then Plaid Cymru moved in and went into partnership with Labour...only to break up and so we get it worse on two levels.

With this funding Barry could be The Pearl of the Vale, generating tourism to a new level, instead of relying on the existing state of the town, the natural beauty of the coastline is not appreciated to its utmost to attract visitors to this "scruffy" town. Diolch an eich gwaith caled.

The challenge to procure equitable funding for the Vale of Glamorgan has been a long time coming and I fully support Alun Cairns in his endeavour to bring this matter to a head.

Funding for the Vale was vastly underestimated in the 1996 local government reorganisation. This baseline oversight has never been corrected and it's about time it was.

Typical of the Welsh Government who do not ensure fair funding for the Vale of Glamorgan.
