CF62 6QP........Its not fair that we receive less than people in Cardiff...I have a severely disabled daughter who is going through the funding process for her care right now, she is in a hospital bed and has been there for over a year, but its taking months to organize funding for her care in her home.....please give us the same funding as people in Cardiff.

I am a pensioner on a meagre state pension, I qualify for pension credits which this year are being cut because my state pension will rise ...and as always its more rises, be it fuel, food or taxes, there does come a time when one wonders just how many pigs at the trough my taxes are supporting!

The vale of Glamorgan and particulary Barry needs the funding settlement to be raised to the same level as Cardiff. Whybshould we be treated differently?

yes it does seem quite unfair that the
vale of Glam should receive less than other councils but of course
the welsh government might like to tell us why!, put this anomaly right
and thus make sure we will not have to bear increased rates.

The basis of the level of funding to the various councils should be made public and open to scrutiny.

Why does the Welsh Assembly think that the people of the Vale are worth so much less than other parts of the Vale? Equal funding for all of Wales.

As the largest town in Wales, there is no reason why the Vale shouldn't receive the same funding per capita as Cardiff or Bridgend. The centre and Barry Island desperately need development.

Deprivation indices would not seem to justify such a difference in relative funding. At the very least this needs reviewing and I would therefore support this petition.

The formula for calculating the funding values seems to warrant re-examination. The Vale is certainly losing out.

It is outrages that the Welsh Goverment should seek to raise taxes so much higher in the Vale then our neighbouring counties. I guess our goverment supports their Labour voters with cash reductions. But we OAP`s can only suffer so much, and we always vote . "Grey Power" will unite and stand against injustice

The Vale of Glamorgan is becoming more and more isolated through lack of services and needs more funding. It should at least be supported with the same amount as Cardiff 's funding per person.

Why penalise an area to grant others more. Why the discrepancy?
I understand giving a little extra to help poorer areas but every person has the right to be treated equally.
Be fair with funding in Wales - give everyone an equal share.

Please increase the Vale funding and/or make it a level playing field.
