Greens ..where is your democracy wher is your respect for womens sex based rights?

Distressing self-demolition of a party that I used to support

These actions by the Greens have been shocking to watch unfold. If the Greens can no longer stand with women and lesbian and gay people within the party, they obviously cannot stand for me. I expect democracy and fairness, but the Greens are exhibiting bullying and anti woman and homophobic values.

Save the Greens.

Hounding and bullying women who voice a different opinion does not look good for the Greens. It looks like what it is ; a witch hunt. The issue needs nuanced discussion, not hubris & vitriol. One minorities rights should not violate the rights of another - especially women and children.

Any party which seeks to silence 51% of the population from speaking about their rights is not democratic.

The only way the Greens can effectively stop women who support women's rights from being active in the party is to ban all women cos you just never know which women will turn out to be feminists.

Surely what happened to Linda Gale, Anna Kerr and any woman or man who is critical of current (trans)gender ideology is a violation of their fundamental democratic right to freedom of speech. Historically there have been many political parties or figures in other countries that did not and do not respect democracy and freedom of speech. Do we want this in a democratic country like Australia? Providing for the greater good means cooperation, collaboration and discussion of all people's points of view including women and men who may be may be critical of gender ideology and YES including transgender people, not all of whom, as it happens, support the silencing of biological women. The greater good is not gained by one group (transgender activists and their supporters) suppressing the freedom of speech of another (gender critical women and men). Democracy and the greater good does not include violating the rights of biological women and children.

More power to you Linda & Anna please continue to speak the truth.

An ideology is being forced on people at the expense of class analysis, and authoritarian measures are being taken to enforce it. This is similar to a compulsory religion that one cannot even question.

I consider myself politically neutral, i e neither Right nor Left, but strongly support the sentiments of this petition.

There is no democracy and equality in a party or society that doesn’t listen to all voices and in a society where womens and childrens rights are ignored and sex based rights are extinguished

It's hard to believe that the Greens are so willing to silence and exclude members, particularly women, who speak up with their concerns about the rights and safeguarding of women and children in relation to this ideology of gender and yet here we are. This is such bad form. Do better Greens!

Democracy can never come second to ideology. Shame on the ideologues driving this - the electorate is already so mistrusting of political parties and this may see the beginning of the end for the Greens in Australia.

Bring democracy back.

Gale and Kerr must be reinstated. There are so many women, not named in this petition, who have been bullied out of the Greens over this issue.

Appalling situation. Breaks my heart to see the Greens degenerate in this way. Women’s oppression continues in many forms.

Just not right to expect females to undress in front of males or compete against males if they chose not to

When it comes to the gender cult, I’m left wondering what happened to the greens’ integrity that once would have fuelled them to stand alone against the oppressive, the disingenuous and the anti-science fronts, as it has done with every other social justice issue? For the first time in my life I didn’t vote green this time. Please re-find your trademark spine to stand up against authoritarian bullies-or continue to become them. We can’t trust a party has the competence or mettle to act in the interests of our planet, if it allows itself to be so easily led to discard something as fundamental to nature as biological reality. Stop pandering to misogynist ideological bullies, I can’t even recognise you right now, who are you letting yourselves become?!
