Voted Green this time in Brisbane but starting to think it was a big mistake if all I did was enable a social media lynch mob to take down two feminist women just because they dared say that there are biological differences between women who are born as women and ones who transition to become women. Yes I believe transgender rights should be respected. No I don’t believe if you still have a penis you should be invading women only spaces….like segregated public toilets, swimming pool change rooms. And, duh, the only people who can actually get pregnant are those born with ovaries and a uterus. How brain dead would you have to be to dispute that? But evidently if you do…..now in the Greens expect to be cancelled, vilified and attacked. Yeah I used to be a member but I walked years ago. So sorry there were no Teal candidates to vote for in Qld. Yeah we need more sensible women independents who are concerned about the real issues….like global warming, loss of species, housing affordability, free education, better medical care…..you know, the stuff that real people care about. Not about whether we are offending minorities by using the wrong pronoun, or the raft iof other silly thing the Greens become fixated on. But hey….what a con….they waited until after the election to show their true anti democratic Stalinist colours!

I supported the Australian Greens in the recent federal election because of their strong position on climate change. I do NOT support what was done to Linda Gale and Anna Kerr. Complex social questions, which should be addressed by open, reasoned discussion, are instead being dealt with by slogans and bullying, reversal of internal elections, and expulsions of members. If discussion of gender questions continues to be suppressed like this, I will find it difficult to support Australian Greens in future elections. I’ll be looking more closely at climate-conscious independents.

The Greens with their recent electoral success have been given a great opportunity and responsibility by the Australian people to provide leadership on the environment. Instead they are are intent on fighting cultural wars and ignoring the rights of women.

This gender cult has been embraces by conformist creative types who cannot deal with conflict since they don't use logic. They're now enforcing this faith based nonsense with authoritarian zeal. We must resist this and stick with material realism and political science.

Wake up Greens, women are half the population, do not give our rights away without consulting us.

I have always voted either Greens or Labor, but the ignorance about the transgender issue dismays me. Too many people on the left conflate supporting gay rights with supporting trans rights, without understanding the different complex issues involved. I am concerned about the policy of affirming any young person who says they might be trans, without a proper differential diagnosis. This is going to be the biggest health scandal this century.

What a time to be a woman... "her main ‘sin’ has been to consistently restate basic biological facts, such as humans have two sexes and only women get pregnant and give birth. These statements have been branded ‘hate speech’.

Open discussion and debate is always needed otherwise it's a dictatorship. Dictatorships don't like to be questioned.

Without free speech there is no free thought. Eithout freedom to think outside the square there is no protest.

For a supposedly democratic party, the Australian Greens are behaving in a decidedly un-democratic manner.

Women are a sex class, more than an idea in a man's head.

Transwomen are men. How dare you silence women for speaking up to defend single spaces for women and for our sex-based rights. Shame on you!

Not only failure of democracy but what are greens going to do when transing kids breaks as biggest medical scandal of the century. Look at other countries already rolling it back. UK Cass report. Sweden Finland ceased pubity blockers. Bone damage, cognitive damage. Greens support big Pharma advertising campaign

The history of the women's movement, which was purely based on the hard won victories of rectifying sex based oppression, is being completely erased through post modern trans ideology. The Greens party actions to silence womens dissenting voices in this - is nothing short of misogyny.

I have been a lifelong Greens voter until the last election, then voted for the party that responded to my question about protection of women’s sex based rights. Completely on the other side of the political spectrum, however I will not vote foe a party that denies biological reality and places women and children at risk by blind adherence to such a evil ideology.
