Faculty Professional Misconduct

To whom it may concern,
We're reaching out to student affairs at Brooklyn college to file a complaint about a professors teaching misconduct. My classmates and I, after having to teach ourselves the course’s work for the entire semester, do not feel satisfied with our professors teaching and grading strategies. We are currently taking MATH 1011 with Professor John Velling. We feel his teaching doesn’t meet our ability to learn math online. We also feel very strongly about the way our course work was graded such as our final and our midterm, as we believe it has been unfairly graded. Also, students didn’t benefit from the exams on my open math, being that we hardly learned anything that was on it and as mentioned earlier, we had to teach ourselves. This is all besides the fact that our professor was always in a negative mood while teaching and we believe that impacted his communication skills with us and the effectiveness of his teaching. We'd like to take action to better our chances of passing this course, as for majority of the class has failed on both exams.
