I have been reviewing the feedback provided by families who rely on our current after school provisions. The stories shared highlight how essential these safe harbor spaces are for our youth. I am currently preparing a formal request for a meeting with the council to present these findings.

Short sighted move. Saving money now will just cost more in police and social services later when kids have nothing to do.
Leave it alone. stop cutting stuff for the youth.
This is ridiculous. The council always finds money for new office furniture but cuts the things the kids actually need.
Absolutely gutted if this happens. Face2Face has been a lifeline for my family for years.
My kids love the summer playschemes. They have nowhere else to go and this would be a disaster for working parents.

PLEASE keep this open. These kids need a safe place to play after school instead of just wandering the streets.
