A choice would be great! Virtual im sure works for some families while in person will work better for some families so if we can not go 100% back in person, a choice is necessary!

Schools in Grand Ledge surrounding area's have returned to school at the beginning of the year some have in person and virtual options.......not all kid's are learning this way my daughter was struggling before this and even more so now and there is no way with the virtual learning that she can have the accommodation of her IEP given the way it is in person. School's need to reopen in person face to face so our kid's can get back to really learning.

I am a 70 year old grandmother and have been virtual schooling my 3 grandchildren that are in 1st, 4th, and 6th grade. The 4th grader is on the autistic spectrum. At the end of the day, I am exhausted, after going around helping and monitoring these 3. I don't understand how to do the 6th grade math, so different than when I was in school, and my 6th grader doesn't get it either. I feel face to face schooling would be so much better. When we run into computer issues, I am no help to them, I am limited in my computer knowledge. And, my 1st grader has been limited with making friends. The one best friend she has now, after all these school weeks is "Siri". I think they need to return to the in school setting. Thank you.

Although I am grateful for everything that teachers are doing to try to help my children my children need to be in school.

I think the construction played more of roll than we were told. Cause there has been no reason to ever not have had on person

Kids NEED to go to school! Give the kids and parents an option to do virtual or in school with masks. Most schools have and it has not been a problem.

I have 3 kids all different grades. I work, there mom works. Our parents the kids grandparents are doing there virtual learning, they are in their seventies. They are not made to be educators, parents aren't made to be educators. Teachers are the educators and the kids need them. They need there friends and to have a social life, or this generation of kids are gonna be socially inept. This will destroy there self esteem, and may cause anxiety and depression. Please let the kids back to school.

My child needs in person learning. It is just not the same because he is extremely behind and I understand they are trying their best but my son needs more help than ever and keeping them 6 months out on school to only go back to start completely new work every week he is not learning anything. They are expecting them to just figure it out on their own. They need face to face

It is 100% necessary for the well being of our children to send them back to school, face to face. Children are not meant to learn behind a computer screen. They need socialization, it is crucial for humans m, especially children. Mask or no maks- it’s time to go back. We are not even in a pandemic anymore!!! Set the children free!!
