Tired of my child being in class with 80+ kids for hours a day. He and any of the other children dont deserve the laziness and disregard of his current teachers using online schooling as a way to barely work. These children deserve full attention and dedication from all of their instructors. The administration at all levels is failing these kids as they fall further and further behind their peers. GL Families deserve a choice and a voice in these decisions.

Some type of option for in-person learning needs to be offered for all children.
Possible live stream class to those that choose virtual at home learning.
So no one misses a beat, live stream offers full course of classroom.
Parents can choose virtual at any time. If a parent starts feeling unsafe at any time, they can choose to keep their child home instead of in person and live streaming the teacher via google classroom or similar platform, would make it possible for children not to miss anything while switching over.
We have heard from too many that their children hate virtual, they are failing because they are submitting assignments incorrectly, staff using different platforms, parents are failing their children, children’s mental health are declining, the children are not learning enough, parents have taken their children out of the district to get in person learning OR to get better learning options via home-schooling, etc.

An in school option needs to be made available!! What is currently happening is not a viable learning approach for many(possibly the majority)of our school kids. We're setting our kids and our schools up for failure and it's devastating effects will last long past this pandemic.

While I’m glad online learning is working for some, it is unfortunately not a success in our household! Both full-time working parents and a Kindergartener who struggles daily with every. single. task. assigned. It’s heartbreaking. She NEEDS to be back in the classroom!
