There have been numerous studies on flight attendant fatigue. I urge you to read all of them.

If the AFA is fighting for reserves with the FAA, why are they proposing 24hr reserve in the TA for United?

Fatigued flight attendants are NOT at the top of their game in an emergency or for that matter, even observing passengers that suspicious. Front line employees have saved MANT lives. Unfortunately, we are now the eyes and ears in homeland security as well.

24 hour reserve needs to end FAA! It's easy to say it's legal when YOU don't have to work these unsafe, abusive rules.

I strongly request reviewing this matter as it is not safe for flight attendants who are literally requested to be on call for 24hrs

It is inhuman! How this is legal is outrageous and disgusting! FAA, Airlines and Washington are all in bed together!!!

24hr on call causes stress, anxiety and fatigue - creating safety issues. On-Duty needs to be defined as A.M. or P.M. or "Call-Out" times.

This is a safety issue that needs to be addressed. Fatigue is a real problem for flight attendants.

No one should have to be on call 24 hours a day with no compensation! Besides that, it's a safety issue.

From not being able to pick up from days off and AA to now 24hr ready reserve, this TA is even worse for reserves.
I am against having a 24-hour "on-call" duty day.
