I've not seen one of these adds, and they wouldn't affect me much anyway. But this petition needs to be signed for the sake of those this does affect.

On FA exist many minors, myself being one of them. These types of ads are, needless to say, far too disturbing and mature for the younger furry community, as well as those furries of age who would rather not see these ads. This is a community, not a porn site.

I have to agree, sounds like the site is selling out. It's one thing to offer ads, it's another to show real porn, especially when you prohibit your users, the ones that really make the site, from doing so. If this is the direction FA is headed, this site will eventually fail and no one will be to blame but the owners and admin.

All persons who bought ad space on FA should demand a refund until theirs are the only ads allowed. We supported this community for a decade without third party ads, we don't need them now.

If its encouraging people to turn on Adblock, which only hurts those putting money into it, then I say find alternative ads. I mean, I understand the fandom is usually linked to sexual stuff by those ignorant of the fandom, but that doesn't mean we're all for it.

Really couldn't believe the picture I saw on the page wide ad! I was immediately embarrassed! How can I be proud to have my artwork on a site that allows ads like that!

Absolutely agreed. FA is not the place for those kinds of ads. As a community we have those who dip into the adult areas - as a writer, I am guilty of being one of these, but we are more than that. Pornographic images hurt all of us - from the artists who don't want to deal with that in their art to the most fantastically creative erotic writers, we do NOT come to FA to 'get off'.
