A deprived area such as Camberwell would benefit greatly from the tube and it would hopefully reduce the unrelenting traffic.

The Camberwell area would be well served by proper public transport.

These are two very important areas of London, sadly under served by public transport. It's unthinkable to extend the bakerloo line and not stop at Camberwell and Peckham!

Four key reasons to support this: • It serves the needs not just of Southwark but also Lambeth communities • National facilities like Kings College Hospital and the Maudsley need better access for their patients and visitors • It takes pressure off bus services using highly congested routes like the Walworth Rd • It brings new opportunities for local employment

I support the extension of the tube via Camberwell.

I support the extension of the tube via Camberwell where it will serve a large (and growing) residential community in need of improved transport links into the centre of town.

The volume of traffic around Camberwell is getting completely unmanageable - on bad days, it has in the past taken me up to an hour to get from E&C or Vauxhall to Camberwell, a distance of about 2 miles in each case. The roads just can't cope with the number of buses and cars on them. A tube would make a real difference.

Connecting south east London to the tube network is long overdue and something many forgotten residents south of the river have been waiting for. Option 2 via Peckham Rye is efficient, intelligent and cost effective.

As much as we have an amazing bus system in Camberwell, I think it is vital to open the southeast up with an underground station. As it gets more and more built up, and it is, the traffic situation is going to get more and more congested.I think its a no brainer....

I have lived in the old Kent rd. for 20yrs and it is awful how busy the traffic has got as well as the amount of people Southwark council have moved into the area. You cannot get on a buss in rush hr and when you do it is dangerous as you are crushed in like sardines in a can. I so so hope the old kent rd will be part of this bakerloo line. I have though about going to the EU re the traffic fumes we are inhaling on a daily basis. The hight levels of polution from the traffic need to be monitored and something must be done. The old Kind Rd has been neglected for years - Southwark really need to do something about the area. I live in Avondale Sq Old Kent Rd, why have we not had information re the new bakerloo line through the door asking for our thoughts. I found out from a friend who lives in Lambeth? A Bakerloo line down the Old Kent Rd means so much to the residents, another transport link (tube) will mean another mode of much easier. I hope this is not all talk! Isabella Cairney

The overground that currenly serves Peckham Rye and Queens Road Peckham is completely inadequate as it is nearly ALWAYS delayed and more often than not closed at weekends for what seems like never ending engineering. Camberwell doesn't even have that option! The Bakerloo Line has to come via Peckham to continue the area's much needed regeneration and it needs to come much sooner than 2030. MUCH sooner.

Camberwell & Peckham would both benefit greatly from having a tube link - it's long overdue.

I looked at the TFL report, that shows how badly our area is served for transport ( like we didn't know already). Lets make the case for Camberwell, and the tube link to Peckham which would be great for our area

As usual, north London gets all the investment. Both Camberwell and Peckham are in depserate need of improved transportation services. There are daily traffic jams and current bus services are terrible - long waits punctuated by a line of 5,6 up to 7 buses racing each other to get back to bus terminal for a cup of tea. The politicians don't care. They don't live here.

I lived in Talfourd Rd, Peckham, which was served badly by the 12 and 36 buses that ran frequently in theory, but in reality there were long gaps in the service, punctuated by platoons of buses arriving more or less simultaneously. Put a station on the existing line between London Br and New Cross Gate/New Cross (perhaps call it Old Kent Junction - and build it with platforms for EVERY track and make every train stop there like Clapham Jct in the South West). Camberwell needs the Bakerloo.

The more transport options we have the better. I get the overground from Brockley and it's getting more crowded all the time.
