Camberwell and Peckham are both destinations in their own right and both suffer from slow transport links into the West End, especially due to slow traffic on the Walworth Road. Old Kent Road is already well served by speedy busses to Elephant.

Planned since 1913 and long overdue. Hospitals and colleges need a decent Underground network.

I look at the tube map of South East London and dispair. Hopefully my children, should I have any, will look at it from a bakerloo line station in Peckham.

London is growing, why not bring the tube to serve South London communities and help the redevelopment of our area. Our closest tube is Elephant & Castle and this is a 30 minute bus ride away.

Desperate overcrowding at Loughborough Junction every morning with yearly entries / exits up from 300k to 1.3 million over the last ten years - the Camberwell tube is needed and makes a lot of sense.

As a regular visitor to the area, I'm sure that this suggested extension of the Bakerloo line would be very helpful to visitors like myself.

the area around Camberwell and onto Peckham has had an incredible sense of renewal over the last years and now we need official help to sort out the nightmare of transportation in and out of the area. For somewhere with such a dense population and so close to the centre it is a disgrace that this area is not connected by tube. Especially when they are immediately extending the tube line to Battersea to serve some high-end properties!
