Camberwell lost it's rail connection a century ago and has waited since 1948 for the underground to arrive. No more. We need the Bakerloo line now to bring jobs and opportunity to the area.

camberwell is extremely lacking in transport links to central London given the relevant short distance. Peckham seems to have had a population explosion and the train services are over crowded and slow. Having the barkerloo would resolve these issues and make those from out of area encouraged to visit and help sustain local businesses

Would make an enormous difference to an area poorly served by transport links, being greatly beneficial to residents and to workers and visitors coming to King's College Hospital and other instutions in the area. Would ease congestion on Camberwell Road and Walworth Road and thus have significant environmental benefits. Would give a huge boost to economic generation of the area.

As others have already said, it is appalling that Camberwell has been ignored for so long. It is a central part of London and yet has no tube connections. The hospital, the art college, dental hospital and businesses are being ignored for too long. Let us become a part of the travel network and join the rest of London.

I'm just about to move to the area and a future tube line would do wonders to make the neighbourhood so much more accessible.

Prospective Conservative MP for Camberwell & Peckham. I am from Camberwell and believe that this is long overdue. Camberwell really needs this connection.
