As an owner of a local business, I am concerned that 1h is very insufficient for my clients and it is putting people off from using the services of local businesses and doing their shopping in New Mills

The parking needs to be 2 hours at least.

Encourage shopping in the town centre

Increasing parking to 2 hours on Main Streets would be helpful as the paid car parks get full. This causes problems for my clients at Niche Beauty.

Free parking would be better .

Small village full of older residents who struggle to park and then have to pay for more than an hour. Parking should be free for at least 2 hours if people have to pay.

This would really help local businesses :-) And as a resident without any parking, I'm not allowed to park in the car park during the day unless I pay each day. two hours free would be great :-)

It is most places and hard to get much done in one hour!

2 hrs free parking would encourage shoppers to use the cafes, library and to exercise in the Torrs too instead of having to leave earlier than they need to. Great idea!

1 hour is not long enough

This needs to happen. Killing local trade.

The one hour limit is killing trade for small businesses in New Mills and forcing people to park in nearby residential streets.
