Or even one and a half to trial, it will make a difference.

1 hr is not long enough to shop and have a coffee or light lunch. Local businesses would benefit. Two more shops in the central area closed recently.

I think it would be better for the small business, if there was a two hour limit for free parking

Parking should be free within the village to help local shops

Can't get hair done in an hour and parking restrictions have meant me running dripping wet to move my car! 2 hours needed to use the shops, definitely

You are killing the village without it !

Parking should be free throughout New Mills shopping areas to encourage shoppers to use local shops

The longer people can park the more shops they will visit

Big supermarkets have free parking. Small businesses need a level playing field. Pay to park drives shoppers away

From a road safety point it wold be a good idea to go round New Mills after 5pm and see what danger es parking is Cars on footpaths / junctions /zig zags Some think yellow lines are parking bays. Parking wardens are just after easy money

I agree, 2 hours free parking would be great. Support local businesses!

1 hour is not long enough to be able to support the local shops and cafes

I agree, one hour is not long enough for parking on the roads in the centre of New Mills. The town has a lot to offer and many people are deterred from visiting because of the parking restrictions. Local businesses are greatly affected by this.

The current limit is deterring people from parking in New Mills and local businesses are suffering with some closing down altogether.
