Resident of Holder Rd. The petition expresses my concerns about the incompatibility of the bare land condominium plan with the historical and current land development of Second Peninsula.

We would like to see the municipal rules apply to this development, as stated in the petition.

As a resident of Holder Road, I note that Second Peninsula Rd is used by many bikers. It is common to see on a daily basis both individuals and groups cycling. Area residents are respectful and make room for them. Significant increased vehicular traffic on this road, which has no shoulder but many curves, is indeed worrisome.

As a member of the local community, I am strongly against this development as it poses significant threats to the health of the near pristine environment and vibrant community.

The objections to this development described in this petition are well thought out and demonstrate the devastating effect such a development would have on what is now a peaceful area where animals, birds and humans live in harmony. I live on Sand Dollar Lane close the proposed development and am very concerned about its implications for my water supply as well as my privacy. But more broadly, should the municipality approve such a large development, it would be setting a terrible precedent for future greedy developers to exploit.

As a property owner in Second Peninsula, I agree totally with the numerous detrimental impacts outlined here to the natural beauty, safety and environment that makes this place so special.

Too dense a development for this low density single family residential development, will require a high capacity sewage treatment system tha will empty int Martin’s Coce very sheltered saltwater cove with below average ability to flush to the open ocean. Any problems with a proposed system wil result in serious consequences.

If this project is allowed to proceed as of right then Second Peninsula requires planning and by-law controls in a hurry.

I stand with this petition for all the reasons put forth. For myself, damage to the environment which is already under threat; watercourses and the inlet itself; and the increasing danger of using Second Peninsula Road for walking and biking are my greatest concerns. This letter doesn’t mention the crashes, but it is a fact that the road is extremely dangerous in winter and numerous people have been seriously injured in recent years. We do not want more traffic!

My wife and I live within several hundred feet of the Proposed Development and I couldn't agree with the letter expressing concern more.
