The wonderful peaceful waterside journey out to Backman’s beach on my bicycle would never be the same.

I know this beautiful area. Please don't destroy it with such nonsense developments.

I agree with all of the concerns listed by signers of this petition. Please don't overdevelop this absolutely gorgeous and pristine part of the world...just take a look at what happened in Bedford Basin because of unchecked development...tragic.

There seems to be too much attention to economic development and not enough paid to environmental impact. Our water table cannot support a development of this size.

This proposed development is of too high a density for Second Peninsula and is not consistent with the development of the community to date.

This development must be stopped. Quite frankly, it is appalling that it has been permitted to proceed to this extent. It is past time to bring regulations in line with environmental concerns.

I fully support this letter. The concerns raised about this high density development in a low density residential area are valid.

This is a travesty and needs to be shut down. Please use our tax dollars for the right thing and get this type of environmental destruction under control.

High density development on Second Peninsula takes away from the special nature of the place. Thumbs down!

Disgraceful that some one is trying to do this to what has been a productive farm and wood lot in my lifetime. This would not be affordable housing for people who need it and therefore there is no need to overpopulate what was unspoiled land.

I believe this to be a dangerous precedence to set regarding appropriate land use on Second Peninsula.

I chose to move to Second Peninsula 20 years ago for its natural beauty, tranquility and sense of community. I am appalled that a development with such density could be permitted without appropriate consideration of the Municipality's regulations for land use and trust that our elected officials will recognize the need to ensure that the spirit of our regulations are upheld. I support the well articulated position contained in this letter.
