The New York Child Learning Institute has successfully served children with a primary diagnosis of autism since 1993. One in 68 children have been identified as having autism spectrum disorder. Diagnoses are on the rise. As a result of the success of the program the continued request for student placements, and the rise in incidence, the New York Child Learning Institute is requesting to expand its school and to serve more children. Please sign this petition and collectively, let’s inform the New York State education department of the need to help more children.

Reaching this point has been a long and draining road that often felt like pushing against a closed door. Seeing this level of support gives me the energy to keep fighting for the space these children deserve.

This place helped my nephew so much. They really need more room to help other kids who are waiting.

NYCLI does incredible work with autistic children and should be supported and expanded.
