The current time allocated for character education in Alabama schools is insufficient. Character education plays a crucial role in the holistic development of students, fostering value such as respect, responsibility, and citizenship.
By increasing the time dedicated to character, education and grades K through 12 across all, Alabama schools, we can ensure our children grow into well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to society.

The momentum surrounding this initiative has reached a level that far exceeds my initial expectations. It is clear that many Alabamians share a profound commitment to the moral development of our students.

As an artist and former classroom educator turned Teaching Artist, I am hopeful this Bill will pass! I've always heard "Your talent can take you where your character cannot keep you." In the working environment, I have seen so many people lose work due to poor character. We've got to do something different and this is KEY!
I recommend and agree for a full class room period for a character education curriculum
We need this in our schools! So many children don't have this at home!
Please support this initiative.
I support the addition of a comprehensive "Character Education" program in the schools.

I certainly support more time to teach character building in our youth. We need to take steps to stop the violence and promote more civility. Put down the guns and use our words. Choose kind works
