After watching the 20/20 show about this case, I felt the District Attorneys decision not to release John is clearly retaliatory toward John's mother for exposing the corrupt lengths a prosecutor is allowed to go to obtain a connection. My heart goes out to her and I hope that someone puts an end to the obvious vindictiveness of a broken system so she can be reunited with her son.

Maybe the answer is to appeal to the DA that is banning him from a bail where he could at least be free during their time of reorganizing.

Antonio Russo admitted it was his own gun . How can you try John Giuca, when most witnesses for prosecution now recanting. Expert on misconduct even looked at case and saw so many lies on part of prosecution. The boy wanted to be a detective. I know not really relevant, but his life before that night didn't lead you to think of his as a killer.

2 critical witnesses admit lying on stand. 1 of which was threatened by prosecution, the other has parole violations buried by prosecution so as to not affect her case/undefeated record.
1 Anti-Semitic juror commits perjury to be on jury and admits that he thought that the defendant was Jewish.
1 person admits to the shooting with his own gun.
If just one of these instances happen, an honest system for the people should consider granted a new trial.
This is just ridiculous and sickening. This could happen to any one of us who happen to be at the wrong place at wrong time. The Justice system is broken America.

I THINK HE DESERVES TO BE RELEASED FROM PRISON. I'VE KNOWN ALOT OF MEN WHO HAD LIFE PLUS. AFTER 8 YEARS OR MORE, THEY WERE FOUND NOT GUILTY. THE STATE AGREED TO RELEASE THEM, ONLY IF THEY DIDN'T SUE THE STATE, WHICH TO ME IS WRONG. BUT, THEY TOOK THE DEAL BECAUSE THEIR FREEDOM MEANT MORE TO THEM!!!!

It is BEYOND obvious this kid is innocent. And his mom was willing to go undercover and even sleep with the enemy if she hadve needed to because she believes in her kid that much. What a travesty. The kid said it best it's hard to be an innocent man in prison. Just imagine that.
