The proposal is far too impacting on all users. It would also affect retailers, hirers and shore based trade. This ill thought through proposal should not go any further without a full and transparent public consultation.

The rivers and waterways should be considered the same as right of way rambling public foot paths and free to access they are not owned by the government they are managed on our behalf via council tax and water bills so hands off

This is an infringement of our civil liberty. At no time has this been legally voted for and has only come to light through people voicing their concern. Very little publicity has come from the council. Maybe Spotlight should be asked to air any public opinion?

I am concerned that these new orders will significantly damage local businesses and affect visitors to the area. I believe they represent significant overreach of regulations.

There has been insufficient information and consultation on the end effects of the proposals and in particular the likely costs to individual users of the Exe waterways,

The water should remain free to use as it has been forever adding another layer of beaurocracy to what is a simple pleasure for many is a nonsence. Beaurocrats will bring in senseless restrictions & regulations just to justify their existance
