It is the right of every person to make their own decisions about their own body and reproductive health, especially if those decisions affect not only the rest of her life, but the wellbeing of a child

A public hospital should provide family planning services!

This is a public hospital paid for and funded by the public of WA. Catholic doctrine has no place in a public hospital. SJOG should have refused or been refused the contract if their religious beliefs do not allow them to provide what are considered normal services in a public hospital. They will not even dispense the pill to patients in their public wards. Good one Premier and Health Minister. Good job on not representing and governing for the best interests for the people of WA.

A public hospital has no right to deny a person control over their fertility.

As we celebrate IWD this March, we realise that we still have a long way to go to enjoy basic rights.

Its very hard when you are an Emperor (as Collin thinks he is) to connect with what the actual people want. He and his incompetent Ministers have stuffed up the Health budget so badly and wasted sooo much money, all they think they can do is flog off gov assets to the detriment of the community.

It is not acceptable that privatising health services results in lack of access to reproductive health and family planning services. This is a retrograde step and is not acceptable in 2016.

Handing over the management of Midland Hospital to St John of god was a travesty as they were never going to provide all the services the community has a right to expect. Not content with this, the religious lobby now harasses women who are legitimately attending local clinics. This campaign of intimidation must stop. At the very least an exclusion zone must be implemented around reproductive health clinics.

I absolutely support this petition. It is essential since our Liberal govt has condoned the exclusion of family planning services from a Public Hospital.
Intimidation should not be tolerated.

Setting up exclusion zones is the least the Barnett Government can do to protect women from harassment at reproductive health clinics. The heckling occurs at Midland because the Liberal govt decided to contract out a public hospital to the Catholic Church.

I hold the fundemental right of people being able to protest. However, I do not support the rights of protesters to interfere with the rights of women and their personal self health determinations.
