Rasheed Brown is a good man that made mistakes and those mistakes did cost a life. But that was never his intention, he has a young child that now has lost her father for life. He wasn't right but neither is sending him away for life and destoying the lives that he has effected so tremedously please find it in your heart to reconsider this egregious error in sentencing

Being an attorney I understand how the sentencing guidelines work, but there is also a law that gives judges the discretion to sentence outside of the guidelines. This is so sad to see when a white kid in Texas can kill a family of 3 while driving drunk and get probation because he is rich. Lady justice failed on this sentence.

Put People Away Who Literally Deserves It! This Was Clearly A Accident! Not Justifying Any Other Wrong Doings Mr. Brown Has Done But Being A Murderer Is Not One! Killing Someone With Purpose Is Not One! Not His Character At All!! There's Murderers That's Only Doing 15-20 With Evidence To Prove They Are A Murderer! This Sentence Is Unhuman And Outright Wrong & Clearly Over Exaggerated!! I'm Hurt For Both Families But At The Same Time Lets Be Fair & Make It Makes Sense And Giving A Young Man Who Did Not Intentionally Kill A Person 100-150 Yrs Is Absurd & Prejudice If You Care To Ask For My Opinion I Don't See This Any Other Way!!

I think the sentence is down right ridiculous.. I've known this guy for a long time, very solid, hard working, and an excellent father, brother, son, uncle! He would never purposely cause harm to anyone! Good luck Shed!

The sentence DOES NOT fit the crime. I have STRONG BELIEFS in regards to doing the right thing..making good choices, being responsible & safe, but no one is free of mistakes! It's time for the judicial system to start punishing based on the crime instead of RACE! Only in the land of the free.... yes, I'd like to see a list of non-brown inmates and/or civilians criminal records, to see if this was actually a fair sentence...I HIGHLY DOUBT IT! It's time to wake up people and know who these people are that we are voting in to office, because these are people that play a high role stripping away black/brown men from their families while others (non-brown) are walking away free or with almost a slap on the wrist. Get involved, suck up all the information you can and get busy! What happened to the FIGHT that people use to have in them? We need it back or this will continue to happen to our sons, grandsons and great grandsons...AND even Our DAUGHTERS!

100 years+ that's ridiculous. Yes a family lost a loved one, but I'm sure he didn't wake up and say let me go kill someone today. It was a accident. Please sentence accordingly.

A beautiful young man, he walks in love. Not just for his family but for people around him. Many hearts is heavy for him and the person who lost his life. His life should not be value at 100-150 years, he has a daughter whom he loves, and is a wonderful father to,. It is a wonderful thing to see the love he has for her. And as a young girl we need that. Sometimes an accident is an accident, but with the acknowledgement of what he has done wrong. Please reduce his sentence. In God's name

I sincerely believe the sentencing guidelines were too harsh in this case. The time does not fit the crime which seems to be an accidental incident.
